cost of traveling in a mission with SOS to Guatemala...

• Costs of the mission trip fall into two categories: Fixed and unfixed expenditures. Fixed Expenditures include: team member emergency travel insurance, hotels, meals, ground transportation, airport exit taxes and tips. Fixed expenditures currently range between $500 to $600 per person. Unfixed Expenditures cover airfare, airline and airport taxes and are subject to last minute fluctuations. Flight costs can range anywhere between $550 to $750 per person. SOS personnel constantly monitor flight rates so as to secure the lowest fare for the team.

• The total amount paid to SOS, a 501 3c non-profit organization, is a TAX-DEDUCTIBLE contribution. For your tax purposes, you will receive a letter from SOS by January indicating the amount of your contribution.
